BLACK OAKS SUCCESSFULLY REHABILITED THE BETTY SHABAZZ COMMUNITY YURT FOR PROGRAM CLASSES & COMMUNITY AS WELL AS ERECT THE SUSTAINABLE BUILDING TRACT GARAGE WITH ACCOMPANYING STORAGE AREA. BOC SECURED AND INSULATED THE RED BARN WHERE THE HEALTHY FOOD HUB PRE ORDER FULFILLMENT TAKES PLACE AS WELL AS SECURE GUEST CABINS FOR PROGRAM TRAINERS AND GUESTS TO STAY.


BOC WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE TO SUPPLY COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTERS WITH NUTRIENT-DENSE, LOCALLY-GROWN FOOD. OVER $5000 RX BAGS WERE DISTRIBUTED TO AREAS HARD HIT BY THE PANDEMIC AND THE RIOTS FROM THE WEST SIDES' OF CHICAGO TO PEMBROKE. THE HEALTHY FOOD HUB MOBILE MARKET RUNS WERE ABLE TO BE INSTITUTED AND WE INITIATED DELIVERY TO MIMIZE COVID RISK.


BOC WAS SUCCESSFULLY ABLE TO PREVENT LAND LOSS PREVENTION AND SECURE 3 PARCELS OF LAND THAT WERE IN TAX DELINQUENCY. THEY WERE ABLE TO BEGIN TO WORK WITH FAMILY TO PLAN A FARM BUSINESS
