THE SHACK HARRIS & DOUG WILLIAMS FOUNDATION IS A 501(C)(3) NON-PROFIT TAX EXEMPT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO CREATING OPPORTUNITIES FOR ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED YOUTH. THE FOUNDATION

THE FOUNDATION AWARDED A NUMBER OF GRANTS TO VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN. SEVERAL GRANTS WERE AWARDED FOR MINORITY HIGHER EDUCATION ASSISTANCE DURING THE YEAR. THE FOUNDATION ALSO ESTABLISHED THE BLACK COLLEGE HALL OF FAME WHICH RECOGNIZES THE GREATEST FOOTBALL PLAYERS, COACHES AND CONTRIBUTORS FROM HISTORICALLY BLACK COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY. THROUGH THIS PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED TO THE GENERAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND OF EACH SCHOOL THAT HAS A FORMER PLAYER OR COACH BEING INDUCTED INTO THE HALL OF FAME THAT YEAR.
