THE MOVEMENT STRATEGY CENTER WORKS TO BUILD A PROGRESSIVE MOVEMENT, BY INCREASING THE CAPACITY OF INDIVIDUALS, ORGANIZATIONS, ALLIANCES AND SECTORS TO BE MORE STRATEGIC, COLLABORATIVE AND SUSTAINABLE.

MOVEMENT STRATEGY CENTER PROVIDES VALUES-ALIGNED, HOLISTIC INTERMEDIARY SERVICES ENABLING ACCESS TO CRUCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE AND THOUGHT PARTNERSHIP FOR BIPOC, WOMEN, AND LGBTQIA MOVEMENT LEADERS, ACTIVISTS, AND COMMUNITIES CHALLENGING INTERSECTIONAL ISSUES OF SYSTEMIC RACISM, RAMPANT ENVIRONMENTAL DESTRUCTION, AND CRIPPLING ECONOMIC EXPLOITATION. WE ARE UNIQUE IN THAT WE DO NOT OPERATE AS A SINGULAR ORGANIZATION BUT AS A COLLECTIVE ECOSYSTEM INCUBATING AND ACCELERATING THE WORK OF OUR PARTNER PROJECTS.OUR MODEL REJECTS A ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL APPROACH BY CUSTOMIZING PROGRAMS AND SERVICES TO SUSTAIN EACH PARTNER BASED ON THEIR UNIQUE NEEDS. OUR DEEP-ROOTED MUTUAL CONNECTIONS SEED A LARGER MOVEMENT AND ACTIVIST ECOSYSTEM THAT FOSTERS COLLABORATION, CROSS-POLLINATION, AND EVOLUTION. CRITICALLY, OUR INFRASTRUCTURE AND OUR PARTNERS DISAVOW THE INHERENT SYSTEMIC RACISM WITHIN THE PHILANTHROPIC COMMUNITY.OUR PROGRAMS INCLUDE: EQUITABLE FISCAL SPONSORSHIP THE MOVEMENT STRATEGY NETWORK, WHICH IS A PORTFOLIO OF INCUBATION STAGE PROJECTS FOCUSED ON TRANSFORMATIVE MOVEMENT BUILDING THROUGH BIPOC LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, COMMUNITY-DRIVEN PLANNING AND CULTURAL STRATEGY, THAT WE SUPPORT WITH SEED FUNDING AND INCUBATION.
