ISC BRINGS LOS ANGELES TOGETHER THROUGH EXUBERANT, SURPRISING PRODUCTIONS OF CLASSICAL PLAYS AS WELL AS NEW WORKS. IT ADDRESSES THE INEQUITY OF ACCESS TO THE PERFORMING ARTS THROUGH FREE AND LOW-COST PROGRAMMING. IT CREATES THEATER THAT IS DYNAMIC, INCLUSIVE AND ACCESSIBLE, ENRICHING THE COMMUNITY AND REACHING NEW THEATER AUDIENCES.

GRIFFITH PARK FREE SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL -23 PERFORMANCES PRESENTED FREE TO AUDIENCESTHE TEMPEST BY WILLIAM SHAKESPEARESTRATEGICALLY PLANNED SO AUDIENCES WERE SOCIALLY DISTANT, TO KEEP CAST,CREW, AND AUDIENCE AS SAFE AS POSSIBLE. THEY WERE VIEWED BY OVER 6,000 PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD,ON MULTIPLE ONLINE PLATFORMS.


AT AN INDOOR VENUE, THE ORGANIZATION PRESENTED THE FOLLOWINGS:RETURNED TO INDOOR PERFORMANCES WITH A CHRISTMAS CAROL WITH CHARLESDICKENS.


IN THE COMMUNITY, THE ORGANIZATION HOLDS STUDIO CLASSES IN SCENE STUDY FOR PROFESSIONAL AND NONPROFESSIONAL ACTORS WHICH MOVED ONLINE. IT EXECUTED CURRICULUM, WORKSHOPS, AND PERFORMANCES FOR 4 SCHOOLSONLINE OFFERINGS: PRESENTED THE LAST SYLLABLE, AN IMMERSIVE AND INTERACTIVE VERSION OF MACBETH BY WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE. THIS PROJECT INCORPORATED FILMED SCENES, POETRY, CARTOGRAPHY, AND ART.FILM PROJECTSSHOT OUR FIRST FEATURE FILM, LIVE AT THE PORPENTINE. AN ADAPTATION OFWILLIAM SHAKESPEARES A COMEDY OF ERRORS, THIS FILM FEATURED ORIGINALMUSIC, WAS FILMED AT ICONIC LOS ANGELES LOCATIONS, AND WAS INSPIRED BYCLASSIC SILENT COMEDIES.
