COMMUNITY RESIDENCES - ALG PROVIDES HOUSING, STAFFING, REHABILITATIVE SERVICES TO ADULTS WHO ARE DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED AT 25 COMMUNITY RESIDENCES AND SUPPORTIVE APARTMENTS.


INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT SERVICES AND AT HOME - PROVIDES SERVICES TO DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED PERSONS LIVING IN THEIR OWN APARTMENT. STAFF PROVIDE 10-20 HOURS PER WEEK PER INDIVIDUAL FOR SUPPORT/ SUPERVISION.


THE ALTERNATIVE LIVING GROUP, INC. PROVIDES FISCAL INTERMEDIARY SERVICES FOR ABOUT 250 INDIVIDUALS RECEIVING SELF-DIRECTION SERVICES UNDER NYS OPWDD. THIS PROGRAM ALLOWS AN INDIVIDUAL WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES TO CHOOSE THEIR SERVICES UNDER A PREDETERMINED BUDGET AMOUNT SET BY NEW YORK STATE. AS THE FISCAL INTERMEDIARY WE ARE RESPONSIBLE IN PROVIDING THE SERVICES THAT INDIVIDUAL CHOOSES TO USE UNDER THEIR BUDGET. SUCH SERVICES INCLUDE, RESPITE, COMMUNITY HABLITATION, JOB COACH, AND INDIVIDUALIZED GOODS AND SERVICES.
