COLUMBIA-PRESBYTERIAN MEDICAL CENTER FUND, INC. ("CPMC FUND INC.") WAS FORMED BY COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY AND PRESBYTERIAN HOSPITAL TO BE A VEHICLE FOR JOINT FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES BY THE UNIVERSITY AND THE HOSPITAL, BOTH OF WHICH ARE 501(C)(3) EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS. THE UNIVERSITY AND THE HOSPITAL HAVE CEASED MOST JOINT FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES. CPMC FUND INC. CONTINUES TO MAKE GRANTS AND ALLOCATIONS TO SUPPORT THE ACTIVITIES OF COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY AND NEW YORK PRESBYTERIAN HOSPITAL (SUCCESSOR TO PRESBYTERIAN HOSPITAL).
