THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO FOSTER THE DEVELOPMENT OF CREATIVE INDIVIDUALS AS WRITERS AND ARTISTS AND TO PROMOTE PUBLIC APPRECIATION OF EXCELLENCE IN THE LITERARY AND GRAPHIC ARTS, BY PUBLISHING A MAGAZINE CONTAINING FICTION, POETRY, ESSAYS, REPRODUCTIONS OF GRAPHIC ART, AND INTERVIEWS WITH WRITERS AND ARTISTS REGARDING THEIR WORK, BY PUBLISHING AND FOSTERING THE PUBLICATION OF COLLECTIONS OF SUCH WORKS, BY FOSTERING THE PUBLICATION OF LITERARY AND GRAPHIC WORKS AS BOOKS, FILMS OR OTHER FORMS, AND BY OTHER ACTIVITIES THAT FURTHER THESE GOALS.

PUBLICATION OF THE PARIS REVIEW:IN FISCAL 2021, THE MOST SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITY OF THE PARIS REVIEW FOUNDATION WAS THE PUBLICATION OF THREE ISSUES OF THE PARIS REVIEW, EACH OF WHICH REACHED AN AVERAGE OF 28,307 SUBSCRIBERS AND PURCHASERS OF SINGLE ISSUES.


WEB ACTIVITIES:DURING FISCAL 2021, THE PARIS REVIEW WEBSITE RECEIVED A TOTAL OF 10,083,774 PAGE VIEWS, 8,968,176 UNIQUE PAGE VIEWS, AND 5,458,702 UNIQUE VISITORS. THE DAILY IS UPDATED ONCE OR TWICE A DAY.


EVENTS:IN THE FISCAL YEAR OF 2021, DESPITE THE ONGOING CHALLENGES OF THE PANDEMIC, THE PARIS REVIEW FOUNDATION HELD ELEVEN VIRTUAL EVENTS AND ONE IN-PERSON EVENT. AUTHORS FEATURED IN THESE EVENTS INCLUDED KIRK LYNN, YOHANCA DELGADO, TRACIE MORRIS, OCEAN VUONG, ELOGHOSA OSUNDE, M. SCOTT MOMADAY, AND OTHERS. OUR IN-PERSON EVENT WAS A GROUP READING OF A GARY INDIANA NOVEL BY GARY INDIANA AND FRIENDS AND CO-HOSTED WITH PIONEER WORKS IN BROOKLYN.
