PROVIDES HIGH QUALITY SUBSIDIZED CHILD CARE, EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION, AFTER SCHOOL AND FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES IN THE CITY OF NEW YORK. CURRENTLY, FOCH SERVES A POPULATION OF OVER 2000 ENROLLED IN OUR SERVICE CENTERS

FOCH PROVIDES CHILD CARE AND PRE-SCHOOL CENTER BASED SERVICE YEAR ROUND FOR APPROXIMATELY TEN 10 HOURS PER DAY FOR CHILDREN AGES THREE 3 MONTHS TO FOUR 4 YEARS. PROGRAMS ARE FUNDED BY NEW YORK CITYS DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION DOE. PROGRAMS ARE STAFFED BY CERTIFIED MULTI-LINGUAL TEACHERS, AND OTHER PROVIDERS PRESENTING A MULTICULTURAL CURRICULUM, THE CHILDREN RECEIVE A RECOGNIZED DEVELOPMENTAL APPROPRIATE EDUCATION NTTRITOUS MEALS AND SNACKS DENTAL AND MEDICAL SCREENING, THESE PROGRAMS INCLUDE FAMILY PARTICIPATION AND INPUT.
FUNDED BY THE STATE OF NEW YORK, THE CHILD AND ADULT CARE FAMILY PROGRAM CACFP ENABLES NUMEROUS INDEPENDENT PROVIDERS -AGES TWENTY FIVE 25 TO SIXTY FIVE 65 YEARS TO SERVE NUTRITIOUS PREPARED MEALS AND SNACKS TO CHILDREN UNDER THEIR CARE. THESE PROVIDERS ARE REQUIRED TO MEET GUIDELINES ESTABLISHED BY UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE USDA FOCH OFFERS TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND ADMINISTRATIVELY OVERSEES THE PROVIDERS ENSURING THAT THE MANDATED STANDARDS ARE MET AND THE PROVIDERS ARE APPPROPRIATELY REIMBURSED.
UNDER CONTRACT WITH THE NYC DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, THE FRIENDS OF CROWN HEIGHTS EDUCATIONAL CENTER, INC. FOCH OPERATES AN EXTENSIVE FAMILY CHILD CARE NETWORK FCCN DELIVERING HIGH-QUALITY CARE AND EARLY EDUCATION TO CHILDREN AGES 6 WEEKS TO 3 YEARS OLD IN 118 LICENSED PROVIDER HOMES THROUGHOUT THE BOROUGHS OF BROOKLYN AND QUEENS.WITH A CONTRACTED CAOPACITY OF 1,000 CHILDREN IN THESE AFFILIATED PROVIDER HOMES OUR MIXED-AGE FAMILY CARE PROGRAMS ARE GROUNDED IN A HOLISTIC APPROACH THAT ENSURES THE SOCIAL,EMOTIONAL, PHYSICAL, AND COGNITIVE NEEDS OF EVERY CHILD ARE MET.AFFILIATED PROVIDERS ARE SUPPORTED WITH INSTRUCTIONAL RESOURCES, COACHING, AND HANDS-ON PROGRAM MONITORING BY OUR EXPERT PROFESSIONAL STAFF.
