LEARNING CENTER - CRYSTAL SPRING IS A LEARNING CENTER FOR ENGAGING PEOPLE IN THE SKILLS OF BUILDING LOCAL COMMUNITY AND LIVING IN PLACE. OUR PROGRAMS IN MEDITATION AND THE ARTS ARE TOWARD THE WORK OF SOCIAL CHANGE. OUR PARTICIPATION IN CSA, LOCAL FOOD SECURITY, FOOD FESTIVALS, COOKING AND BAKING CLASSES TEACH HEALTHY AND WHOLESOME WAYS OF LIVING. WE ARE A FIELD PLACEMENT SITE FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS WE CONNECT WITH THE LOCAL INTERFAITH COMMUNITY TO CREATE A WINTER FILM SERIES. WORKSHOP AND WEEKEND PROGRAMS PROVIDE OPPORTUNITTIES FOR RETHINKING OUR HUMAN PRESENCE WITHIN A LIVING ECO-SYSTEM - HOW TO ENTER THE ECOLOGICAL AGE.
