"SEE ART" IS FULFILLED THROUGH THE OPPORTUNITIES SAGE PROVIDES TO THE SHERIDAN COMMUNITY TO SEE AND EXPERIENCE A WIDE VARIETY OF ART IN ITS MEMBER AND EXHIBITION GALLERIES. -CREATE ART" IS FULFILLED THROUGH OUR COMMUNITY ARTS EDUCATION PROGRAM WHICH PROVIDES CREATIVE ARTS LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL AGES AND EXPERIENCE LEVELS. "PROMOTE ART" IS FULFILLED THROUGH CREATING A PLATFORM TO SUPPORT THE VISUAL ARTS AND LOCAL ARTISTS THROUGH OUR GALLERIES, EVENTS AND MARKETING REACH.

MISSION:

THE COMPANY MANAGES THE PARK RESERVOIR FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING WATER TO SHAREHOLDERS OF THE COMPANY. THE COMPANY MAINTAINS RECORDS, MONITORS THE CONDITION OF THE DAM AND RELEASES WATER AS ESTABLISHED BY IT'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

THE OBJECT OF THIS NON-PROFIT 501(C)( 7) ORGANIZATION SHALL BE THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF ORGANIZED RIFLE, PISTOL, SHOTGUN, BLACK POWDER AND ARCHERY SHOOTING AMONG CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES RESIDENT IN OUR COMMUNITY, WITH A VIEW TOWARD A BETTER KNOWLEDGE ON THE PART OF SUCH CITIZENS OF THE SAFE HANDLING AND PROPER CARE OF FIREARMS, AS WELL AS IMPROVED MARKSMANSHIP. IT SHALL BE OUR FURTHER OBJECT AND PURPOSE TO FORWARD THE DEVELOPMENT OF THOSE CHARACTERISTICS OF HONESTY, GOOD FELLOWSHIP, SELF- DISCIPLINE, TEAM PLAY AND SELF-RELIANCE WHICH ARE THE ESSENTIALS OF GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP AND THE FOUNDATION OF TRUE PATRIOTISM.

THE PURPOSE OF THE SHERIDAN COMMUNITY EDUCATION FOUNDATION IS TO ACQUIRE FUNDS FOR PROVIDING AND PROMOTING A BROAD ARRAY OF EDUCATIONAL SERVIES TO THE SHERIDAN COUNTY COMMUNITY THAT ARE NOT FORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE REGULAR K-12 PUBLIC SCHOOLS PROGRAM, INCLUDING PRESCHOOL AND ADULT EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, AS WELL AS ENHANCEMENTS TO THE K-12 PROGRAM. ADDITIONALLY, THE SHERIDAN COMMUNITY EDUCATION FOUNDATION PROVIDES A CENTER FOR THE COLLABORATION BETWEEN OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT COME TOGETHER TO PROVIDE A STRONGER BASIS TO SERVICE THE SHERIDAN COMMUNITY.
