The goal of this organization are the residential facilities for older adults who are unable to function in an independent living environment because they need assistance with toileting, bathing, dressing, medication, meals and housekeeping and other activities of daily living, but do not require nursing care on a regular basis.

THE FOUNDATION WAS ESTABLISHED TO MANAGE PERMANENTLY RESTRICTED ENDOWMENT CONTRIBUTIONS (I.E., CONTRIBUTIONS INTENDED BY THEIR DONORS TO BENEFIT THE WEST VIRGINIA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, INC. IN PERPETUITY) THEREBY PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE WEST VIRGINIA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, INC. THROUGH ANNUAL DISTRIBUTIONS BASED ON A PERCENTAGE OF THE NET FAIR MARKET VALUE OF THE FOUNDATION'S TOTAL ENDOWMENT.

CHANGE, INC COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY ENCOURAGES THE INTEGRATION OF SERVICES, THE BUILDING OF PARTNERSHIPS, AND THE CONSOLIDATING OF RESOURCES TO EMPOWER FAMILIES TOWARDS HEALTHY SELF-SUFFICIENT LIVING.

MISSION:

BROADDUS HOSPITAL IS THE PRIMARY PROVIDER OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES IN BARBOUR COUNTY. IN 2022, THE HOSPITAL PROVIDED 124 ACUTE INPATIENT DAYS; 1,904 SWING BED INPATIENT DAYS; 16,315 LONG-TERM CARE PATIENT DAYS AND 6,227 EMERGENCY ROOM VISITS.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to operate facilities for cooperative group living experiences in the out-of-doors; and which provide opportunities to learn campcraft, nature lore and conservation, and participate in a wide range of indoor and outdoor recreational, athletic and group social activities including cookouts.
