RANGING FROM SMALL, FAMILY-OWNED PROPERTY TO LARGE-SCALE TRACTS OF PROTECTED FORESTS, THE WVFRC IS MADE UP OF A DIVERSE SET OF FORESTLAND OWNERS. THESE FAMILIES, TRUSTS AND CORPORATIONS HAVE WORKED TO PROVIDE THE BEST RETURN ON INVESTMENTS FOR ALL WEST VIRGINIANS. WVFRC MEMBERS HAVE CHAMPIONED A DIVERSE FOREST MANAGEMENT PROGRAM, INCLUDING EXPANDED ACCESS FOR OUTDOOR TOURISM AND RECREATION, TIMBER HARVESTING, FOREST CARBON PROGRAMS AND MANY OTHER PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO BENEFIT THE PEOPLE OF WEST VIRGINIA FOR CURRENT AND FUTURE GENERATIONS.
