GOT GREEN ORGANIZES FOR ENVIRONMENTAL, RACIAL, AND ECONOMIC JUSTICE AS A SOUTH SEATTLE-BASED GRASSROOTS ORGANIZATION, WORKING TO ENSURE THAT THE BENEFITS OF THE GREEN MOVEMENT AND GREEN ECONOMY REACH LOW INCOME COMMUNITIES AND COMMUNITIES OF COLOR.

MISSION:

WE CLOSE EDUCATION OPPORTUNITY GAPS THROUGH A UNIQUE, CROSS-AGE, YEAR-ROUND ONE-TO-ONE TUTORING PROGRAM. OUR DUAL-IMPACT MODEL HELPS YOUNG STUDENTS DEVELOP READING SKILLS NECESSARY FOR ACADEMIC SUCCESS WHILE TEENS DEVELOP LIFE AND WORK SKILLS THROUGH A MEANINGFUL FIRST JOB.

The goal of this organization is to operate associations for male and female students which are chapters of national or international organizations, have secret rites and restricted membership, and may undertake, as a part of their activities, community improvement or charitable projects.

THE PURPOSES OF THIS CORPORATION SHALL INCLUDE OFFERING CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS AND ASSOCIATES OF OCCUPATIONAL STUDIES (AOS) DEGREES IN COMPUTER GAME DEVELOPMENT (BOTH IN 3D ANIMATION AND PROGRAMMING), 3D ANIMATION FOR FILM, TV, VISUALIZATION AND ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES. AIE - WA WAS FORMED TO ADDRESS THE NEEDS IN THE STATE OF WASHINGTON FOR A WELL-ROUNDED VOCATIONAL EDUCATION RESULTING IN A CERTIFICATE/ADVANCED DIPLOMA AND AOS IN GAME SOFTWARE DESIGN, PRODUCTION AND 3D ANIMATION THAT APPLY TO VIDEO GAME DEVELOPMENT, AND ALSO THE NEED FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF STANDARDS AND PRACTICES IN THE FIELDS OF VIDEO GAME QUALITY ASSURANCE AND VIDEO GAME PRODUCTION.

MOTHER NATION IS A NATIVE AMERICAN 501(C)(3) NONPROFIT THAT OFFERS CULTURALLY INFORMED HEALING SERVICES, ADVOCACY, MENTORSHIP AND HOMELESS PREVENTION IN WASHINGTON STATE. WE SUPPORT NATIVE AND INDIGENOUS WOMEN DURING TIMES OF TRANSITION FROM CHRONIC HOMELESSNESS AND GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE TO STABLE HOUSING BY PROVIDING COUNSELING, CONNECTION TO SOCIAL SERVICES, SISTERHOOD, COMMUNITY AND SPIRITUAL SUPPORT.OUR CULTURALLY INFORMED HEALING SERVICES ARE DESIGNED AND PROVIDED BY CREDENTIALED NATIVE AMERICAN ELDERS WHO APPLY CULTURE TO CLINICAL PRACTICE. WE USE TRADITIONAL NATIVE MEDICINES INCLUDING ESSENTIAL OILS, PRAYER, STORIES, SONG, CEREMONY, ART, KINSHIP, HUMOR, LAUGHTER, FOOD, AND EARTH-BASED TEACHINGS. BY ACKNOWLEDGING THE PAST AND RE-LEARNING WHO WE ARE AS A NATIVE PEOPLE, INDIGENIOUS SISTERS WHO PARTICIPATE IN OUR PROGRAMS TRANSFORM THEIR PATH TO A JOURNEY OF NATURAL LEADERHSIP AND WISDOM BUILT ON ANCESTRAL STRENGTH.
