THE CENTER WAS ORGANIZED TO STRENGTHEN BUSINESS, EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL RELATIONS BETWEEN THE HYOGO PREFECTURE AND THE STATE OF WASHINGTON (AND THE UNITED STATES) AS WELL AS TO INTRODUCE JAPANESE CULTURE THROUGH CULTURAL PROGRAMS AND TO PROMOTE JAPANESE LANGUAGE EDUCATION IN THE STATE OF WASHINGTON.

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES LEADERSHIP GUIDANCE AND EDUCATION TO YOUTH AGES 6-23 ALONG WITH EDUCATION AND COACHING AROUND TRAINING, NUTRITION AND SKILLS FOR CYCLING

COMMUNITY YOUTH LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL. PROVIDING COMPETITIVE YOUTH BASEBALL TO APPROXIMATELY 500 YOUTH AGED 4 TO 12 IN WEST SEATTLE. MAIN EXPENSES ARE THE PARK FIELD FEES, UNIFORMS, TEAM EQUIPMENT, BAR-S FIELD MAINTENANCE, BASEBALLS, LEAGUE FEES AND INSURANCE.
