MISSION:

THE CENTRAL WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION IS A PARTNERSHIP OF COMMITTED VOLUNTEERS WORKING IN CONCERT WITH DONORS, ALUMNI, FRIENDS, AND THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITIES TO RAISE

MISSION:

TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ALL MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY OF KITTITAS COUNTY (SEE SCHEDULE O) BY ATTENDING TO THOSE OF ITS CITIZENS WHO ARE UNABLE TEMPORARILY TO STABILIZE THEMSELVES IN THE FIRST FOUR LEVELS OF MASLOW'S HIERARCHY OF NEED.

MISSION:

TO TRAIN IN FURTHERANCE OF THE CRAFT AND THE INDUSTRY THEREBY CREATING A WORKFORCE OF SKILLED, PRODUCTIVE, AND SAFE OPERATING ENGINEERS.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

MISSION:

OPERATION OF A MUSEUM AND ART GALLERY HONORING THE LIFE AND ART OF ELLENSBURG NATIVE, JOHN CLYMER. THE MUSEUM FOCUSES ON CLYMER'S STYLE, HIS APPROACH TO ART, AND THE INFLUENCE HE HAS HAD ON THE ART OF OTHERS.

TO PROVIDE FREE EARLY LEARNING SERVICES AND SUPPORTS FOR FAMILIES AND THEIR CHILDREN.

FOOD BANK AND PANTRY, HOT MEALS, EDUCATION AND COUNSELING FOR LOW INCOME INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES.

The goal of this organization is to make grants for charitable purposes in a specific community or region. The funds available to a community foundation are usually derived from many donors and held in an endowment that is independently administered; income earned by the endowment is then used to make grants.

The goal of this organization is to work to promote the rights of employees to fair remuneration and safe working conditions.

TO ENRICH THE LIVES OF THE PEOPLE OF THE NORTHWEST BY PRESERVING, SHARING AND TEACHING THE DIVERSE HISTORY OF ELLENSBURG AND CENTRAL WASHINGTON. ALSO, TO DEVELOP AND OPERATE A FACILITY THAT ALLOWS THE PUBLIC TO EXPERIENCE A RAILROAD AND EARLY 20TH CENTURY DEPOT AND TO DEVELOP AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE SIGNIFICANCE OF RAILROADS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON.

THE FOUNDATION'S MAIN GOAL IS TO ENHANCE PROGRAMS, EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES AVAILABLE TO ELLENSBURG PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS AND STAFF.

The goal of this organization is to promote or provide access to a variety of visual arts, including organizations that focus on an art form in a specific medium such as stained glass or textiles.
