TO CREATE AND SUPPORT A STATEWIDE NETWORK OF DESIGNATED FAMILY-CENTERED PROGRAMS IN ORDER TO HELP ALL FAMILIES GET OFF TO A HEALTHY START. THE GOAL OF SUNRISE IS TO STRENGTHEN FAMILIES THROUGH EDUCATIONAL & SUPPORT SERVICES TO FAMILIES LIVING IN BENNINGTON COUNTY AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS; WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES, AND COMMUNITIES TO PROMOTE THEIR HEALTHY GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT THROUGH ENCOURAGEMENT OF THEIR STRENGTHS, EXPANSION OF THEIR OPPORTUNITIES, AND SUPPORT IN THEIR TIME OF STRESS.

YESTERMORROW DESIGN/BUILD SCHOOL INSPIRES PEOPLE TO CREATE A BETTER, MORE SUSTAINABLE WORLD BY PROVIDING HANDS-ON EDUCATION THAT INTEGRATES DESIGN AND CRAFT AS A CREATIVE, INTERACTIVE PROCESS.

THE WILSON HOUSE OF EAST DORSET IS A HISTORIC DESTINATION AS IT IS THE BIRTHPLACE OF BILL WILSON, THE CO-FOUNDER OF ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES EDUCATION, SEMINARS AND RETREATS REGARDING RECOVERY FROM THE DISEASE OF ALCOHOLISM AND ADDICTION UTILIZING THE 12 STEP PROGRAM FIRST INTRODUCED BY ALCOHOLIC ANONYMOUS.

WE PROMOTE HUMAN RIGHTS AND DEMOCRATIC SOCIETIES IN CENTRAL AMERICA THROUGH STRATEGIC LITIGATION, RESEARCH, HUMAN RIGHTS MONITORING AND SUPPORT FOR VICTIMS OF HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS.

WE HONOR THE LEGACY OF JACKSON AND LYDIA CLEMMONS, AND ARE CENTERED AT AND STEWARD THEIR FAMILY FARM IN CHARLOTTE-- ONE OF THE RARE AFRICAN AMERICAN OWNED FARMS IN VERMONT. THE 148-ACRE WORKING FARM INCLUDES PRIME AGRICULTURAL LAND OF STATE IMPORTANCE, 60 ACRES OF OPEN SPACE, 60 ACRES OF FOREST AND WOODLANDS, AND 6 HISTORIC BUILDINGS. IT IS ONE OF THE 0.4% OF FARMS IN THE US THAT REMAIN AFRICAN AMERICAN OWNED.

The goal of this organization is to preserve and protect endangered land resources from indiscriminate development, destruction or decay and which manage the utilization of renewable and nonrenewable resources to ensure ongoing availability. Included are conservation of the nations forests, rangeland, vegetation, deserts, wild and scenic rivers and other wilderness areas and open land spaces; and reestablishment of areas that have been devastated by destructive activities such as strip mining or other destructive activities.

THE WOMENS FREEDOM CENTER WORKS TO END VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN & THEIR CHILDREN BY OFFERING SUPPORT & ADVOCACY TO ALL SURVIVORS OF VIOLENCE, AS WELL AS PREVENTION & EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES TO HELP CREATE A COMMUNITY IN WHICH VIOLENCE IS NOT TOLERATED.
