The goal of this organization is to promote artistic expression within a particular ethnic community; work for the preservation and promotion of the traditions, values and lifestyles of different cultural groups; organize activities and events which promote cultural exchange locally or nationally; and encourage understanding and respect for different cultural heritages among the youthful members of the group as well as the mainstream population.

The goal of this organization is to operate associations for male and female students which are chapters of national or international organizations, have secret rites and restricted membership, and may undertake, as a part of their activities, community improvement or charitable projects.

THE PEACE AND JUSTICE CENTER PARTNERS WITH MANY ORGANIZAITONS AND COMMUNITY PROGRAMS ON ISSUES OF ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL JUSTICE, PEACE AND HUMAN RIGHTS AS WELL AS PROMOTING PRODUCTS FROM MANY CULTURES.

MISSION:

YOUNG WRITERS PROJECTS MISSION IS TO INSPIRE, MENTOR, PUBLISH, AND PROMOTE YOUNG WRITERS AND ARTISTS. FOUNDED IN 2006, YOUNG WRITERS PROJECT (YWP) PROVIDES A PLATFORM FOR YOUTH TO EXPRESS THEMSELVES IN WRITING, PHOTOGRAPHY, AND ART TO AUTHENTIC AUDIENCES THROUGH: A DYNAMIC WEBSITE, YOUNGWRITERSPROJECT.ORG; PUBLICATIONS, INCLUDING AN ANNUAL ANTHOLOGY, MONTHLY DIGITAL MAGAZINE, 12 VERMONT NEWSPAPERS, AND VTDIGGER.ORG; LIVE AND ONLINE WORKSHOPS; AND SPECIAL PROJECTS, SUCH AS THE COMMUNITY JOURNALISM PROJECT, WHICH STARTED IN AUGUST 2019.

THE MISSION OF THE VERMONT COUNCIL ON WORLD AFFAIRS IS TO PROMOTE AWARENESS AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE WORLD AND ITS PEOPLE, PLACES AND CULTURES THROUGH EDUCATION AND ENGAGEMENT. THE FUTURE OF VERMONT DEPENDS UPON THE WORLD BEYOND OUR BORDERS. THE VERMONT COUNCIL ON WORLD AFFAIRS, IN COOPERATION WITH THE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTORS, PROMOTES AN AWARENESS AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE WORLD AND ITS PEOPLE THROUGH PUBLIC FORUMS, HOSTING INTERNATIONAL VISITORS AND WORKING WITH OUR EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS TO DEVELOP PROGRAMS FOR STUDENTS, FACULTY, STAFF AND COMMUNITY.
