PROVIDES GRANTS TO LEGAL SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS THAT DELIVER LEGAL ASSISTANCE TO THE POOR AND DISADVANTAGED. THE GRANTS ARE ISSUED TO SPONSOR FELLOWSHIPS FOR LAW SCHOOL STUDENTS

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy the organized recreational activity, sport or game of their choice. These programs may be offered by local clubs devoted to a particular activity or sport; may provide individual or team coaching assistance or instruction, access to equipment and facilities, and uniforms, if necessary; and may sponsor or make arrangements for athletes to participate in amateur competitions, usually at the local or regional level, and provide officials for games. These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.

The goal of this organization is to promote or provide access to a variety of visual arts, including organizations that focus on an art form in a specific medium such as stained glass or textiles.

TO EXTINGUISH FIRES IN HOMES, BUSINESSES, OTHER STRUCTURES AND NATURE WHEN SO NEEDED. ASSISTANCE WITH ACCIDENTS INVOLVING VEHICLES AND/OR ANY OTHER EMERGENCIES, INCLUDING TREACHEROUS WEATHER AND NATURAL DISASTERS. OTHER ACTIVITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: SEARCH AND RESCUE, ASSISTANCE TO OTHER FIRE DEPARTMENTS, SPONSORSHIP OF CPR CLASSES FOR THE DEPARTMENT AND COMMUNITY, TEACHING FIRE SAFETY AND PREVENTION, AND LENDING THE USE OF THE ORGANIZATION'S FACILITIES FOR COMMUNITY EVENTS.
