PRESERVATION PIEDMONT IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO THE PRESERVATION OF THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT AND ITS SETTING IN ORDER TO PROTECT AND CREATE AN APPRECIATION FOR THE HISTORIC RESOURCES OF THE REGION.

CONSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE, PROMOTION, AND FUND RAISING FOR TRAILS AND GREENWAYS IN THE ROANOKE VALLEY OF VIRGINIA. COMPLETING 22 CONTINUOUS MILES OF GREENWAY ALONG THE ROANOKE RIVER IS THE NUMBER ONE PRIORITY. TOTAL VOLUNTEER HOURS FOR 2022 WERE 3,764. INDIRECT EXPENSES FOR EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, MAINTENANCE, AND VOLUNTEERS INCLUDED AS PROGRAM EXPENSE.

PROMOTING SPORTS IN CHESAPEAKE; PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS TO CHESAPEAKE HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS; AND HONORING CHESAPEAKE ATHLETES.

THE PTAB BAR ASSOCIATION HAS FOUR CORE ACTIVITIES: EDUCATION, PROFESSIONAL ENGAGEMENT, PUBLIC SERVICE, AND SCHOLARSHIPS. SCHEDULE O PROVIDES ADDITIONAL DETAIL FOR EACH ACTIVITY.

TO EXTEND THE CHRISTIAN MINISTRY OF THE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH THROUGH COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS TO CHILDREN AND ADULTS IN FRANKLIN COUNTY VIRGINIA

TO RESCUE DOMESTIC ANIMALS FROM CRUELTY, NEGLECT, AND ABANDONMENT AND PLACE THEM IN GOOD, LOVING, PERMANENT HOMES.

TO GROW AND HARVEST HEALTHY, CHEMICAL FREE PRODUCE AND PROTEIN FOR FAMILIES IN OUR COMMUNITY FACING FOOD INSECURITY. 100% OF THE FOOD GROWN ON THE FARM WILL BE DONATED TO FOOD BANKS, FOOD PANTRIES, AND FOOD SHELTERS WITH THE HELP OF VOLUNTEERS.

TO ACQUIRE AND PRESERVE 160 ACRES OF HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT PROPERTY TO BE SO PRESERVED AND USED AS A HISTORICAL PARK.
