PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION FOR THE LAKE BARCROFT COMMUNITY IN FALLS CHURCH, VIRGINIA.

THE ASSOCIATION'S PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO ENSURE VIRGINIA'S WATER QUALITY PROGRAMS ARE BASED ON SOUND SCIENCE AND GOOD PUBLIC POLICY TO PROTECT PUBLIC HEALTH AND THE ENVIRONMENT SUCCESSFULLY AND COST EFFECTIVELY.

MISSION:

THE ARC OF HARRISONBURG AND ROCKINGHAM ACTIVELY SUPPORTS AND ADVOCATES FOR THE HUMAN RIGHTS OF INDIVIDUALS WITH INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES (I/DD) THROUGHOUT THE ARC OF THEIR LIFETIMES.

These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

PROVIDES HOUSING FOR THE ELDERLY AND DISABLED PERSONS AND FAMILIES UNDER SECTION 202 OF THE NATIONAL HOUSING ACT UNDER AN AGREEMENT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF HUD.

PROMOTE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC ABOUT OUR NATIONAL HERITAGE, AND THE LIVES AND DEEDS OF THOSE WHO HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THE ESTABLISHMENT AND WELL-BEING OF OUR NATION.

NSSA IS SOLELY DEDICATED TO THE NATIONAL SECURITY SPACE ENTERPRISE. IT WORKS TO FOSTER LONG-TERM COOPERATION AMONG INDUSTRY AND GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, LEADING THE WAY WITH EXPERT OPINION, INSIGHT AND ANALYSIS. NSSA IS DEVOTED TO FOSTERING A HOLISTIC, MISSION-ORIENTED WORKFORCE THAT WILL SHAPE THE FACE OF NATIONAL SECURITY SPACE FOR GENERATIONS TO COME.

The goal of this organization is to operate organizations that provide educational programs within the formal educational system or offered as an adjunct to the traditional school curriculum which help students succeed in school and prepare for life. Includes organizations that partner parents, families, schools, business and/or community leaders to broker resources for the benefit of local schools.

PROVIDES ONE-ON-ONE COUNSELING AND SUPPORT TO REACH OUT TO THOSE AFFECTED BY ABORTION, SEXUAL ABUSE, AND SOCIAL AND FAMILY ISSUES. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO OPERATES A MATERNITY HOME FOR MOTHERS EXPERIENCING AN UNPLANNED PREGNANCY AND OTHER SOCIAL AND FAMILY ISSUES. THE MINISTRY ALSO OPERATES A THRIFT STORE TO FUND A PORTION OF THE MINISTRY'S OPERATING COSTS.

MISSION:

DEDICATED TO RESCUE, REHABILITATION, AND RE-HOMING COMPANION ANIMALS. WE SUPPORT, TRAP, ALTER, VACCINATE AND RETURN AS A HUMANE ALTERNATIVE FOR THE FERAL CAT.

TO DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN FILES FOR GENEALOGICAL AND HISTORICAL RESEARCH AND TO COLLECT, PRESERVE AND INTERPRET OBJECTS OF HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE TO THE TOWN OF BEDFORD AND BEDFORD COUNTY VIRGINIA

LOCAL UNION ENFORCED THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT TO BETTER THE WORKING CONDITIONS OF THE LOCAL UNION PROVIDE REPRESENTATION TO ITS MEMBERS.

VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR THE RESIDENTS OF ARLINGTON COUNTY, VIRGINIA

The goal of this organization are the organizations whose members are business and professional men and/or women or other individuals who have a common interest in improving the life of the community, which conduct fund-raising events to finance community service projects. Many service clubs are chapters of national or international organizations.
