UMFS IS A SOCIAL SERVICE ORGANIZATION WITH LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT VIRGINIA. FOR MORE THAN A CENTURY, WE HAVE BEEN UNWAVERING CHAMPIONS FOR HIGH RISK KIDS AND THEIR FAMILIES, DOING WHATEVER IT TAKES TO HELP THEM OVERCOME OBSTACLES AND REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL.

YOUTH FOR TOMORROW FOUNDATION WAS ESTABLISHED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE, SCIENTIFIC AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES BY PROVIDING GUIDANCE, SERVICES, AND SUPPORT EXCLUSIVELY DEDICATED TO THE CHARITABLE MISSION OF YFT-THE AIDING AND OFFERING CHILDREN IN CRISIS WITH A QUALITY EDUCATION, RE-DIRECTION OF THEIR PERSONAL BEHAVIOR, STRENGTHENING THEIR MENTAL AND PHYSICAL FIRNESS, ENHANCING THEIR SPIRITUAL COMMITMENT, AND REUNITING CHILDREN WITH THEIR FAMILIES.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. [Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide both health care services and underwrite health and medical insurance. Also included are medical groups which provide health care for HMO members on a contract with the HMO and physician practice groups generally associated with teaching, research, and public hospitals.

TO DEVELOP AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMUNITIES IN THE RICHMOND, VIRGINIA METROPOLITAN AREA.

TO PROVIDE LEADERSHIP FOR THE INDEPENDENT BEER DISTRIBUTION INDUSTRY; ADVOCATE BEFORE GOVERNMENT AND THE PUBLIC; AND PROVIDE MEMBERSHIP PROGRAMS.
