THE SORORITY WAS CREATED TO ESTABLISH AND OPERATE A COLLEGIATE SOCIAL ORGANIZATION AND TO PROVIDE A LIFELONG EXPERIENCE FOR ITS MEMBERS.

MISSION:

OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE EACH CADET WITH AN ACADEMIC, CHARACTER, LEADERSHIP AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION OF EXCELLENCE, WHICH ENSURES HIS/HER DEVELOPMENT AND READINESS FOR COLLEGE, LEADERSHIP, AND CITIZENSHIP. OUR MISSION IS IMPLEMENTED WITH DISCIPLINE, FOSTERED WITH STRUCTURE AND A FIRM, FAIR, CONSISTENT AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT. OUR MISSION IS ESTABLISHED ON THE FOUNDING MOTTO OF THE ACADEMY, "NON NOBIS SOLUM" (NOT FOR OURSELVES ALONE"), AND BASED ON THE PRINCIPLES OF COURAGE, PURITY, AND INDUSTRY.

MISSION:

THE EXCLUSIVE PURPOSE OF THE MOORE EDUCATIONAL TRUST IS TO BENEFIT PUBLIC EDUCATION IN SHENANDOAH COUNTY, VIRGINA, AND SPECIFICALLY TO PROVIDE SPECIAL OPPORTUNITIES TO BENEFIT THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS OF SHENANDOAH COUNTY, VIRGINIA, AND THE STUDENTS OF SUCH SCHOOLS, ABOVE AND BEYOND THE PROGRAMS NORMALLY FUNDED BY SHENANDOAH COUNTY, VIRGINIA.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy the organized recreational activity, sport or game of their choice. These programs may be offered by local clubs devoted to a particular activity or sport; may provide individual or team coaching assistance or instruction, access to equipment and facilities, and uniforms, if necessary; and may sponsor or make arrangements for athletes to participate in amateur competitions, usually at the local or regional level, and provide officials for games. These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.

TO PROVIDE TRANSFORMATIONAL PHILANTHROPY: FUNDING INNOVATIVE LEADERSHIP TRAINING FOR WOMEN, AWARDING SCHOLARSHIPS AND INVESTING IN LIFE-ENHANCING CHILDREN'S THERAPY PROGRAMS.

TO PROVIDE A PUBLIC LIBRARY TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY OF WOODSTOCK AND THE SURROUNDING AREA.

A COMMUNITY BASED, NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION PROVIDING HEALTH SERVICES TO LOW-INCOME, UNDERINSURED FAMILIES WHO COULDN'T OTHERWISE AFFORD THEM, UTILIZING VOLUNTEERS AND IN-KIND SUPPORT.

MASSANUTTEN CEMETERY COMPANY IS OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF DISPOSING BODIES BY BURIAL OR CREMATION AND ANY INCIDENTAL PURPOSES RELATED THERETO, INCLUDING SALE OF BURIAL PLOTS AND THE CONTINUED IMPROVEMENT, MANAGEMENT, PRESERVATION, CARE AND UPKEEP OF THE CEMETERY GROUNDS, BURIAL SITES AND MARKERS.

The goal of this organization is to are responsible for the control and extinction of fires; and the inspection of buildings, hillside property and industrial plants to ensure compliance with fire codes.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in soccer. Coaching, access to a soccer field, soccer equipment, uniforms, and officials for competitions are generally included.

FAMILY PROMISE OF SHENANDOAH COUNTY, AN AFFILIATE OF THE NATIONAL FAMILY PROMISE PROGRAM, IS DEDICATED TO HELPING FAMILIES EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS AND LOW INCOME FAMILIES ACHIEVE SUSTAINABLE INDEPENDENCE THROUGH A COMMUNITY BASED RESPONSE.
