WE ARE A CHRISTIAN MEDICAL CLINIC SPECIALIZING IN UNPLANNED PREGNANCY, RELATIONSHIPS & REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH. WE OFFER PREGNANCY TESTING & VERIFICATION, PREGNANCY DATING BY ULTRASOUND, PREGNANCY CONSULTATION, CHILDBIRTH CLASSES, PARENTING & LIFE SKILLS, MATERNITY CLOTHES, BABY ITEMS & ABORTION RECOVERY GROUPS.

The goal of this organization are the residential options exclusively for older adults who want to have a simpler, maintenance-free lifestyle and enjoy the company of peers with common interests, or who require a moderate amount of support in the activities of daily living to maintain independent living.

MISSION:

PRIOR TO 2020, HOUSING SERVICES WERE PROVIDED TO ELDERLY AND HANDICAPPED INDIVIDUALS INCLUDING A 93 UNIT FACILITY IN CAPE CHARLES, VIRGINIA, AND A 40 UNIT FACILITY IN MOUNTAIN CITY, TN. THE DIRECT HOUSING SERVICES WERE TERMINATED IN 2019 WITH THE SALE OF THE HOUSING UNITS. IN ADDITION TO HOUSING FOR THE ELDERLY, THE ORGANIZATION'S ORIGINAL PURPOSES INCLUDED SUPPORTING OTHER EXEMPT PURPOSES. THE ORGANIZATION HAS RESTATED ITS PURPOSES IN 2020 TO INCLUDE THE MAKING OF DISTRIBUTIONS TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT QUALIFY AS EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS UNDER CODE SECTION 501(C)(3) AND ALSO TO PROVIDE ELDERLY AND HANDICAPPED PERSONS WITH HOUSING FACILITIES AND SERVICES.

CONSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE, PROMOTION, AND FUND RAISING FOR TRAILS AND GREENWAYS IN THE ROANOKE VALLEY OF VIRGINIA. COMPLETING 22 CONTINUOUS MILES OF GREENWAY ALONG THE ROANOKE RIVER IS THE NUMBER ONE PRIORITY. TOTAL VOLUNTEER HOURS FOR 2022 WERE 3,764. INDIRECT EXPENSES FOR EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, MAINTENANCE, AND VOLUNTEERS INCLUDED AS PROGRAM EXPENSE.

FRIENDSHIP HOUSE EXISTS TO PRROVIDE RELIEF TO THE POOR AND MARGINALIZED IN THE ROANOKE VIRGINIA AREA. IT DOES THIS THROUGH THREE PRIMARY PRROGRAMS: A DAILY CHILDRENS PROGRAM, WEEKLY FOOD PANTRY AND A REFUGEE HOUSING PROGRAM
