THE GERMANNA COMMUNITY COLLEGE EDUCATION FOUNDATION, INC. WAS ESTABLISHED TO FOSTER AND PROMOTE THE GROWTH, PROGRESS AND WELL-BEING OF THE COLLEGE AND ITS STUDENTS OUR PURPOSE IS TO RAISE FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE MISSION OF THE COLLEGE A CONTINUING PRIORITY IS TO ENSURE THAT ALL STUDENTS, INCLUDING THOSE WITH FINANCIAL NEED HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO RECEIVE AN EDUCATION.

THE MISSION OF THE GERMANNA FOUNDATION IS TO TELL AMERICA'S STORY OF LIBERTY THROUGH THE FRONTIER EXPERIENCE OF HER SETTLERS AND DESCENDANTS USING ARCHAEOLOGICAL, HISTORICAL, AND GENEALOGICAL RESEARCH AND INTERPRETATION.

The goal of this organization is to are responsible for the control and extinction of fires; and the inspection of buildings, hillside property and industrial plants to ensure compliance with fire codes.

LAKE OF THE WOODS VOLUNTEER FIRE AND RESCUE COMPANY, INC. PROVIDES FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICES TO THE LAKE OF THE WOODS HOMES OWNERS ASSOCIATION AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES OF ORANGE, SPOTSYLVANIA, AND CULPEPER.

TO PROVIDE COUNSELING AND EDUCATION TO PEOPLE WITH SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROBLEMS.

THE FOUNDATION IS FORMED TO:(A) ASSIST YOUNG WOMEN AND THEIR PRE-BORN BABIES, WITHOUT CONCERNS AS TO ABILITY TO PAY, BY PROVIDING HOMES OF SAFE HAVEN WHERE THEY WILL RECEIVE THE PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, SPIRITUAL, AND PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPPORT AND NOURISHMENT NECESSARY FOR THEIR FURTHER GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT. (B) TO PROMOTE AND PROVIDE RELIEF OF THE POOR, DISTRESSED AND UNDERPRIVILEGED; THE ADVANCEMENT OF RELIGION AND EDUCATION REGARDING RELIGION AND RELIGIOUS TOPICS AND INTERESTS; PROMOTION OF SOCIAL WELFARE BY LESSENING NEIGHBORHOOD TENSIONS AND COMBATING COMMUNITY DETERIORATION AND JUVENILE DELINQUENCY.(C) TO CARRY OUT PROJECTS FOR THE BENFIT OF THE COMMUNITY AND PUBLIC.
