WE STAGED TWO FULL PRODUCTIONS (WORLD BUILDERS AND THE REVOLUTIONISTS) AT THE ATLAS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER WHICH WERE BOTH HELEN HAYES AWARDS RECOMMENDED. IN ADDITION, WE CONTINUED OUR NEW WORKS SERIES, FOREWORD, FOR THE SECOND YEAR WITH A SINGLE IN-PERSON TWO-WEEK WORKSHOP AND TWO AUDIENCE PRESENTATIONS, ALSO AT ATLAS, OVER THE SUMMER. ALL OF THE ISSUES RELATED TO INCREASED MATERIAL COSTS, SUPPLY CHAIN DISRUPTIONS, AND SMALL RETURNING AUDIENCE SIZES, WHICH WERE WELL DOCUMENTED IN BOTH MAINSTREAM AND THEATRE INDUSTRY PUBLICATIONS, WERE ISSUES THAT PROLOGUE THEATRE EXPERIENCED AS WELL. COVID CONCERNS ALSO MEANT THAT AUDIENCE AND STAFF MASK REQUIREMENTS, IN PERFORMANCE VENUES, REMAINED IN PLACE FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR.
