THE MISSION OF THE SALT LAKE COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION IS TO PROVIDE FUND-RAISING AND SUPPORT FOR SALT LAKE COMMUNITY COLLEGE BY RAISING FUNDS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS ACADEMIC PROGRAMS BUILDING CONSTRUCTION FURNISHINGS AND EQUIPMENT.

The goal of this organization is to provide technical assistance training and material resources to support the capacity-building efforts of nations outside the U. S. with a focus on agricultural and rural development, health, education, social welfare, small business development and industrial growth.

PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR SOUTH HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI AND THEIR DESCENDANTS. MAINTAIN COMMUNICATIONS WITH ALUMNI SUPPORT THEIR REUNIONS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES AND ENCOURAGE CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE SHAA SCHOLARSHIP FUND.

THE PRIMARY PROGRAM OF SERVICE IS THE RENOVATION OF AN HISTORIC CHURCH BUILDING. $4.5 MIL HAS BEEN SPENT. THE INITIAL RENOVATION WAS COMPLETE IN 2003. IT WON SEVERAL AWARDS FOR HISTORICAL PRESERVATION. ADDITIONAL RENOVATION HAS BEGUN LATE IN 2021.

VISUAL ART INSTITUTE'S MISSION IS TO FOSTER AND NURTURE CREATIVE ARTISTIC DEVELOPMENT AND PERSONAL GROWTH THROUGH HIGH QUALITY ART INSTRUCTION FOR ALL AGES ABILITIES AND BACKGROUNDS ALONG THE WASATCH FRONT.

MISSION:

SUPPORTS BACKPACK MEDICS WHO PROVIDE COMMUNITY HEALTH SERVICES TO ISOLATED VILLAGES AND INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS IN BURMA'S CONFLICT ZONES; PROVIDES GRASSROOTS EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT TO EMPOWER THE PEOPLE OF BURMA; PROVIDES FILM DOCUMENTARY ACTIVIITES.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to preserve and protect water resources from indiscriminate waste and ensure that the supply of quality water is adequate to meet the needs of the public, agriculture and industry. Also included are organizations that preserve and manage coastal lands including shorelines, coastal waters and lands extending inland from the shore which affect coastal waters; bays, lakes, rivers, wetlands, estuaries, watersheds and other aquatic habitats.
