THE HISTORIC HM KING HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING, WITH RENOVATIONS COMPLETED, HAS TRANSITIONED TO USE AS CITY HALL FOR THE CITY OF KINGSVILLE. ADDITIONALLY, THE RENOVATED BUILDING CAN BE USED TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL PROGRAMS FOR THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE ROLE, PURPOSE AND VALUE OF GOVERNMENT AND TO INCREASE PUBLIC UNDERSTANDING, VISIBILITY AND ACCESS TO THE RESOURCES OF GOVERNMENT, CULTURE AND NATURE.

THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED TO FOSTER LOW-INCOME HOUSING IN AND FOR THE CITY OF KINGSVILLE, TEXAS, AND KLEBERG COUNTY, TEXAS, THROUGH OWNING INTERESTS IN LOW-INCOME HOUSING PROJECTS.

THE PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES OF NATIONAL SANTA GERTRUDIS YOUTH FOUNDATION (FOUNDATION) IS TO ADMINISTER SCHOLARSHIPS AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH INVOLVED IN THE BREEDING OF SANTA GERTRUDIS CATTLE.SCHOLARSHIPS(A) TO ENCOURAGE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR NATIONAL JUNIOR SANTA GERTRUDIS ASSOCIATION'S MEMBERS, THE FOUNDATION WILL AWARD SCHOLARSHIPS. THE NATIONAL JUNIOR SANTA GERTRUDIS ASSOCIATION IS A DIVISION OF SANTA GERTRUDIS BREEDERS INTERNATIONAL (SGBI), A 501(C)(5) ORGANIZATION, (EIN 74-1143492). MEMBERSHIP OF THE NATIONAL JUNIOR SANTA GERTRUDIS ASSOCIATION IS COMPRISED OF INDIVIDUALS UNDER THE AGE OF TWENTY-ONE YEARS WHO ARE BREEDERS OR EXHIBITORS OF SANTA GERTRUDIS CATTLE OR WHO ARE INTERESTED IN THE SANTA GERTRUDIS BREED.(B) SGBI CURRENTLY HAS TWENTY-ONE STUDENTS RECEIVING SCHOLARSHIP AID. THE FOUNDATION EXPECTS TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF YOUTH RECEIVING SCHOLARSHIPS AS FUNDS ARE RAISED.(C) THE FOUNDATION HAS CREATED A SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE TO MANAGE THE APPLICATION AND AWAR
