THE MAIN FORM OF ASSISTANCE PROVIDED BY MOST IS SCHOLARSHIPS TO HELP STUDENTS FROM LOW-INCOME FAMILIES HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND PRIVATE SCHOOLS IN THE MEMPHIS AREA THAT CHARGE TUITION.

TO RAISE AND ADMINISTER FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES OF VOLUNTEER STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE AND SOLICIT THE ACTIVE INVOLVEMENT OF ALL COMMUNITIES WITHIN OUR SERVICE AREA.

THE MISSION OF THE GOODWILL EXCEL CENTER MID-SOUTH IS TO PROVIDE ADULTS 18 AND OLDER THE OPPORTUNITY AND SUPPORT TO EARN A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA AND BEGIN POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION WHILE DEVELOPING CAREER PATHS IN SECTORS OF THE LOCAL ECONOMY THAT OFFER BETTER-THAN-AVERAGE EMPLOYMENT AND GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES. THE SCHOOL WILL "MEET STUDENTS WHERE THEY ARE" IN THEIR EDUCATION BY PROVIDING A FLEXIBLE STRUCTURE AND SUPPORTIVE RELATIONSHIPS TO HELP THEM MANAGE WORK, LIFE, AND FAMILY CONCERNS AS THEY ACHIEVE THEIR EDUCATIONAL GOALS.

CARE AND WELFARE OF ANIMALS: THE CENTER PROMOTES THE RESPONSIBLE CARE AND WELFARE OF ANIMALS, INCLUDING PUBLIC EDUCATION, SHELTERING SERVICES, ADOPTION SERVICES AND VETERNINARY CARE INCLUDING SPAYING AND NEUTERING.

THE FOUNDATION OPERATES SOLELY TO MANAGE FUNDS TO SUPPORT CALVARY EPISCOPAL CHURCH.

The goal of this organization is to build, rehabilitate, manage and/or provide rental housing for low-income individuals and families, older adults and people with disabilities; or which make purchasable housing available to low or moderate income families by offering lower priced housing and/or affordable payment plans, by arranging for interest or mortgage subsidies or by involving eventual owners in the construction process (sweat equity).
