MISSION:

THE INSTITUTE'S PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE LEADERSHIP EDUCATION AND SUPPORT SERVICES PRIMARILY TO CHURCHES AND OTHER NON PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS

MISSION:

ACTION TN IS DEDICATED TO HELPING GRASSROOTS GROUPS ACROSS TENNESSEE EXPAND AND COORDINATE THEIR CIVIC AND POLITICAL ENGAGEMENT EFFORTS IN SERVICE OF BUILDING POWER AROUND OUR SHARED VALUES, WITH A PARTICULAR FOCUS ON EMPOWERING UNDERREPRESENTED AND DISENFRANCHISED COMMUNITIES, FROM BLACK AND BROWN COMMUNITIES TO RURAL TENNESSEANS. THIS INCLUDES EDUCATING, EQUIPPING, AND ENGAGING CITIZENS TO TAKE ACTION ON IMPORTANT ECONOMIC AND LEGISLATIVE ISSUES THAT WILL SHAPE THE NATION'S FUTURE. ACTION TN SUPPORTS ALLIES WITH CAPACITY GRANTS, TRAININGS, ORGANIZING TOOLS, DATA, NETWORKING, AND COORDINATION OPPORTUNITIES. OUR MEMBERS RANGE FROM STATEWIDE ORGANIZATIONS TO LOCAL GROUPS THAT SHARE VALUES OF SOCIAL, RACIAL, ECONOMIC, AND/OR ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE. AS A 501C4 POLITICAL EDUCATION ORGANIZATION, ACTIONTN IS ACTIVE IN ELECTIONS THAT FURTHER OUR MISSION BUT IS NOT OUR PRIMARY PURPOSE.

MISSION:

THE ORGANIZATION INVITES INDIVIDUALS AND CORPORATE PARTNERS TO DONATE FUNDS AND VOLUNTEER THEIR TIME THROUGH OUR CURRENT INITIATIVES, WHICH INCLUDE A SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE, TOY DRIVE, AND A YOUTH MENTORSHIP PROGRAM. FOUR TIMES A YEAR, ELMINGTON'S VARIOUS CORPORATE PARTNERS, EMPLOYEE TEAMS, AND VENDORS ARE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR "DRIVES," WHERE WE COLLECTED NEEDED GOODS AND DELIVERED THEM WITHIN THE COMMUNITY TO INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATIONS. FURTHER, IN 2021, A FREE AFTER SCHOOL CARE PROGRAM LOCATED AT A NASHVILLE AREA TITLE 1 ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS WAS LAUNCHED. WITH THE SUPPORT OF VOLUNTEERS, WE PROVIDE FREE CARE FOR 40 STUDENTS FROM AFTER SCHOOL UNTIL 6PM DAILY. WE PROVIDE A MEAL FOR STUDENTS, ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS, AND ACADEMIC SUPPORT. THIS PROGRAM IS ENTIRELY FREE FOR FAMILIES AND THE SCHOOL.

CHRISTIAN RETREAT & SPIRITUAL DIRECTION MINISTRY WHICH OFFERS MANY DIFFERENT OPPORTUNITIES IN WHICH A PERSON CAN LEARN TO GROW IN RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS, TAKE TIME APART WITH GOD TO LISTEN TO & FOR HIM.

The goal of this organization is to focus on the development and improvement of food resources or food procurement through information and technical assistance for agricultural establishments and individuals in rural or urban settings.

BSAA, INC. WILL ALLOW HARDSHIPS FOR CHILDREN WHOSE PARENTS OR GUARDIAN ARE UNABLE TO PAY AND NO CHILD WILL BE DENIED THE OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY BASED ON RACE, RELIGION, SEX, HANDICAP, OR NATIONAL ORIGIN.
