AFSA'S MISSION IS TO PROMOTE UNDERSTANDING OF THE THREATS TO FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION ON AMERICAN HIGHER ED CAMPUSES AND TO ASSIST IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ALUMNI ORGANIZATIONS AT U.S. COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES COMMITTED TO ADVANCING FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION AND VIEWPOINT DIVERSITY.
