LOCAL FIRE COMPANY PROVIDES FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES THROUGH VOLUNTEERS INCLUDING FIGHTING FIRES, EMERGENCY RESPONDER SERVICES TO MEDICAL EMERGENCIES AND ACCIDENTS, AND EDUCATIONAL SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY IN FIRE PREVENTION.

THORNDALE FIRE RELIEF FUND PROVIDES PROTECTION, SAFETY, TRAINING AND RELIEF TO THE VOLUNTEER FIRE FIGHTERS OF CALN TOWNSHIP PENNSYLVANIA. THE ASSOCIATION IS ORGANIZED AND GOVERNED BY THE PENNSYLVANIA ACT 118 OF 2010 CHAPTER 74. THE PA AUDITOR GENERAL REGULATES THE ASSOCIATION.

The goal of this organization is to make available to members and their guests and facilities for recreational activities, sports and games. Also included are social clubs that provide opportunities for people to meet and socialize with their peers at dances, parties, picnics, barbecues and other companionable events; and special interest clubs which enable people to share hobbies or other interests with individuals with those same interests.
