THE MATERIALS RESEARCH SOCIETY (MRS) IS AN ORGANIZATION OF MATERIALS RESEARCHERS WORLDWIDE THAT PROMOTES COMMUNICATION FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF INTERDISCIPLINARY MATERIALS RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

SANKOFA FREEDOM ACADEMY IS A COLLEGE PREPARATORY COMMUNITY BASED K-12 FREEDOM SCHOOL THAT EMPOWERS ITS STUDENTS TO TAKE THEIR RIGHTFUL PLACES IN THE WORLD.

THE MARTIN DE PORRES FOUNDATION IS OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR RELIGIOUS, CHARITABLE, SCIENTIFIC, LITERARY OR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES IN THE PROMOTION AND PROPAGATION OF THE DOCTRINE, RELIGION AND PRINCIPLES OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH MOST ESPECIALLY IN THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CATHOLIC FAITH AMONG AFRICAN AMERICANS IN THE ARCHDIOCESE OF PHILADELPHIA AND ELSEWHERE.
