WEST CHESTER EAST HIGH SCHOOL PTO FUNDRAISES WITHIN THE HIGH SCHOOL COMMUNITY THROUGH DONATIONS AND CONDUCTING AN SAT PREP COURSE SEVERAL TIMES THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL YEAR. THE PTO USES THE FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE SCHOOL COMMUNITY WITH EDUCATIONAL MINI-GRANTS FOR CLASSROOM PROGRAMS, POST PROM ACTIVITIES WHICH EMPHASIZE STUDENT SAFETY, AS WELL AS OTHER ACTIVITIES TO ENHANCE STUDENT LEARNING AND SUPPORT FACULTY AS NEEDED THROUGHOUT THE ACADEMIC YEAR.

INCLUDED WITH THE ACTIVITIES ARE VARIOUS ENRICHMENT PROGRAMING FOR STUDENTS ALONG WITH VARIOUS ENHANCEMENTS TO THE SCHOOL. DEVELOPMENT AND STUDENT NEEDS ARE MET THROUGH VARIOUS GRANTS AND FUNDING PROGRAMS TO EACH CLASS TO ASSIST WITH THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE AND SUPPLEMENT SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND ANCILLARY REQUIREMENTS. THE PARENT TEACHER ORGANIZATION RAISES FUNDS WITH MANY DIFFERENT PARTNERING COMPANIES THAT BENEFITS BOTH THE FAMILIES OF THE STUDENTS WITH PRODUCTS WHILE THE ORGANIZATION EARNS REVENUE AND DISTRIBUTES THESE FUNDS BACK TO THE SCHOOL.

The goal of this organization is the production of concerts including barbershop singing groups, glee clubs/choir groups, childrens choirs and other singing ensembles.
