THE ORIGINAL MISSION OF THE DLC WAS TO DEVELOP INNOVATIVE TRAINING CONCEPTS, IMPLEMENT COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAMS, AND TO FUND RAISE TO SUPPORT PROGRAMS FOR THESE UNDERREPRESENTED MINORITY GROUPS.
