THE LIBRARY WAS STARTED IN 1934 WITH A KIT FURNISHED BY THE STATE GOVERNMENT UNDER THE EDUCATIONAL EMERGENCY RELIEF ACT AND BOOKS DONATED BY THE COMMUNITY TO SERVE THE CITIZENS OF SCHUYLKILL HAVEN,PA AREA.

TO COLLECT, PRESERVE, AND EXHIBIT SIGNIFICANT ARTIFACTS RELATED TO THE PA STATE POLICE. TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AND MEMORIALIZE AND HONOR DECEASED PA STATE POLICEMEN.
