CWA LOCAL 13500 IS A PA STATEWIDE AFFILIATE OF THE CWA WHOSE PURPOSE IS TOREPRESENT EMPLOYEES DURING THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING, ARBITRATION OFGRIEVANCES AND TO PROMOTE THE GENERAL INTEREST AND WELFARE OF ITS MEMBERS.

THE ORGANIZATION EXISTS SOLELY TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION SERVICES TO THE PUBLIC IN CONJUNCTION WITH VARIOUS LOCAL VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENTS LOCATED WITHIN THE GENERAL VICINITY OF THE ORGANIZATIONS BASE.

THIS INCLUDES: REBUILDING FOOD SOVREIGNITY THROUGH FARMER-TO-FARMER EDUCATION AND INNOVATION IN REGENERATIVE AGROECOLOGY AND VALUE CHAIN DEVELOPMENT; FARM-TO-SCHOOL CHILD NUTRITION; EARTH BLOCK SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION; ORPHANAGE OPERATIONS; SCHOOL ENERGY, TECHNOLOGY ACCESS AND OPERATIONS; AND COMMUNITY-LED COVID-19 AND EARTHQUAKE RELIEF.

THE LEGION IS ACTIVE IN PROMOTING GENERAL GOODWILL THROUGH OUT THE COMMUNITY BY DONATING TO DRUG PREVENTION PROGRAMS, LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT, LOCAL LIBRARY, SPONSORING LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL TEAMS AND OTHER PROJECTS.
