TO PRESERVE THE PRESENT HISTORICAL, AESTHETIC, AND CULTURAL CONDITION OF THE ARLINGTON CLUB

MISSION:

COMPRISED OF DISTRICT PROPERTY OWNERS, BUSINESS AND MAKERS, THE CEIC STRIVES TO PRESERVE AND HONOR THE DISTRICT'S INDUSTRIAL ROOTS WHILE MAINTAINING A VIBRANT AND THRIVING COMMUNITY OF DIVERSE BUSINESSES.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

THE GOOD NEIGHBOR CENTER PROVIDES A SAFE ENVIRONMENT AND NEEDED RESOURCES WHILE ASSISTING FAMILIES EXPERIENCING HOUSING INSECURITY IN FINDING PERMANENT HOUSING AND STABILITY.

HELLENIC AMERICAN BASED COMMUNITY SERVICE, INCLUDING PROVIDING CAMP FACILITIES AND MEETING FACILITIES.

TO ENHANCE RESPECT FOR THE WORKPLACE RIGHTS OF LOW WAGE, IMMIGRANT AND CONTINGENT WORKERS AND TO IMPROVE ACCESS OF SUCH WORKERS TO THE LEGAL SYSTEM TO ENFORCE THEIR RIGHTS.

SATURDAY ACADEMY INSPIRES YOUNG PEOPLE TO EXPLORE THEIR WORLD THROUGH HANDS-ON LEARNING WITH COMMUNITY EXPERTS THROUGH CLASSES, CAMPS, WORKSHOPS AND HIGH SCHOOL INTERNSHIPS. OUR GOAL IS TO REINFORCE THE JOY OF LEARNING, ASSIST YOUNG PEOPLE IN DEVELOPING INTELLECTUALLY AND TO HELP THEM PREPARE FOR REWARDING CAREERS. WE STRIVE TO MAKE OUR EXPERIENCES AVAILABLE TO ALL STUDENTS WHO SEEK THEM, AND INCLUDE THOSE WHO MIGHT NOT OTHERWISE PARTICIPATE. WE VALUE ALL LEARNING AND OFFER EXPERIENCES IN MANY DISCIPLINES. WE EMPHASIZE SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATH, BECAUSE OF THE RAPID RATE OF CHANGE IN THESE FIELDS AND THEIR ESSENTIAL ROLE IN MODERN LIFE.

AT YOUTH PROGRESS WE BELIEVE THAT YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE JUVENILE JUSTICE AND FOSTER CARE SYSTEMS ARE LEADERS, SCHOLARS, ARTISTS, ATHLETES AND ENTREPRENEURS. TOGETHER, WE ARE A DIVERSE AND INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY OF STAFF AND FOSTER PARENTS WHO PROVIDE YOUNG PEOPLE WITH SAFE AND STABLE HOUSING AND OPPORTUNITIES TO GROW, LEARN, AND SUCCEED

TEACH MANDARIN CHINESE BY PROVIDING IMMERSION PROGRAMS THAT MAKE LEARNING EASY AND FUN. PROVIDE COURSES ON CHINESE CULTURE IN AREAS SUCH AS COOKING AND ART. OFFER ENRICHMENT COURSES IN MATH, WRITING AND THE ARTS.

LAWYERS ASSOCIATED FOR JUSTICE, SERVICE, PROFESSIONALISM, EDUCATION AND LEADERSHIP.

MISSION:

THE CLUB PROVIDES FACILITIES FOR ITS MEMBERS TO PLAY INDOOR AND OUTDOOR TENNIS AND SWIMMING, AS WELL AS A RESTAURANT FOR FINE DINING. THE CLUB ALSO PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL INSTRUCTION IN TENNIS TO ITS MEMBERS.

MISSION:

TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO THE LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND COMMUNITY. SUPPORT EXTRACURRICULAR, SPORTS AND OTHER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES. THE ENTIRE LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL COMMUNITY (APPROXIMATELY 1,500 STUDENTS AND 100 FACULTY, ADMINISTRATORS AND STAFF) BENEFIT FROM FRIENDS OF LINCOLN.

TO PROVIDE LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL OUTREACH THROUGH THE FOUNDATION OR OTHER U.S. COMPANIES, TO HELP THOSE IN NEED, WITH AN EMPHASIS ON PROVIDING AND PROMOTING EDUCATION, HEALTH, WELLNESS AND NUTRITION.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to satisfy their inner needs and enhance their spiritual growth through organized worship or through other devotional activities under the auspices of one of the group of religious faiths that is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ.
