WITHOUT THE CCL THERE WOULD BE INCREASED RATES OF ISOLATION, DEPRESSION, INJURY, ILLNESS, AND EARLY DEATH AMONG OUR SENIOR CITIZENS. THE CCL IS A CRITICAL COMPONENT IN THE AGING CONTINUUM OF CARE AND FILLS AN IMPORTANT NEED FOR SENIORS. ACTIVE, HEALTHY AGING NOT ONLY BENEFITS INDIVIDUALS, BUT COMMUNITIES AS WELL. ACTIVE SENIORS ARE MORE ENGAGED, VOLUNTEER MORE, AND GENERALLY ADD VALUE TO THE OVERALL FABRIC OF A THRIVING COMMUNITY.THIS PAST YEAR:THE CCL SERVED OVER 22,000 MEALS. WE CLOCKED 13,650 VOLUNTEER HOURS WHICH HAS A PAY VALUE OF $19,474.WE FOUND 3 NEW GRANTORS: ANDERSON, SARKEYS, AND ARPA AND CDBG PLUS THE NEW IN AT CLASSIC CHEVY.WE HAD TO CANCEL ALL INSIDE ACTIVITIES AGAIN THIS YEAR
