THE HOSPITAL ALSO OPERATES A FULL-TIME 24-HOUR EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT, AND TREATS ALL PATIENTS REQUIRING MEDICAL CARE, IRRESPECTIVE OF THEIR FINANCIAL MEANS. THE HOSPITAL PROVIDES ITS SERVICES FREE OF CHARGE OR ON A SLIDING SCALE TO UNINSURED/UNDERINSURED PATIENTS, REGARDLESS OF RACE, CREED, ORIGIN, HANDICAP, AGE OR ABILITY TO PAY.; IN SUPPORT OF ITS MISSION- "TO SERVE.
