These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

Many service clubs are chapters of national or international organizations.

PURPOSE IS TO IMPROVE COMMUNITY BY HELPING TO CREATE JOBS. OWNERSHIP AND RENTAL OF BUSINESS PROPERTY ASSISTS EMPLOYERS WHO OTHERWISE WOULD NOT BE EMPLOYERS.

THIS ORGANIZATION SUPPORTS OTHER LOCAL CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS BY PROVIDING FUNDS TO THOSE ORGANIZATIONS, SO THAT THEY CAN BETTER CARRY OUT THEIR CHARITABLE PURPOSES.

TO PROVIDE THE NEEDY OF THE JACKSON SCHOOL DISTRICT BY PROVIDING FOOD WITHOUT COST AND OFFERING CLOTHES AT A REASONABLE PRICE TO ALL; OR WITHOUT COST TO VICTIMS OF DISASTERS SUCH AS FIRE, FLOOD, ETC.

PROVIDE THE COST TO SEND 100 PLUS BAND MEMBERS TO BAND CAMP, COMPETITIONS AND PERFORMANCES; AS WELL AS PURCHASING AWARDS, PROVIDING RECOGNITION BANQUES, AND PROVIDE ACCESSORIES TO BAN MEMBERS WHO CANNOT AFFORD SUCH EXPENSES ON THEIR OWN.

The goal of this organization is to provide supportive services for individuals and families who are homeless or which work with people who are at risk for homelessness in an effort to prevent them from losing their permanent residence.

TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO VETERANS INCLUDING A SOCIAL SETTING AND OTHER HEALTH RELATED NEEDS.
