MISSION:

TO PROVIDE LOANS AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR REAL ESTATE, FARM AND RELATED FARM BUSINESS EXPENSES TO YOUNG MENNONITE PERSONS INTERESTED IN ESTABLISHING THEMSELVES IN THE GROFFDALE CONFERENCE MENNONITE CHURCH

MISSION:

OUR MISSION, IN HONORING LIFE, IS TO HELP PEOPLE OF THE NORTH COUNTRY DIE IN SPIRITUAL, MENTAL, AND PHYSICAL COMFORT. WE SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGE PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES TO DETERMINE THEIR END-OF-LIFE CARE.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

PRO ACTION OF STEUBEN & YATES, INC. IS A MULTI-FUNDED COMMUNITY SERVICES ORGANIZATION. THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES AS A NONPROFIT 501(C)(3) CORPORATION AND ADMINISTERS PROGRAMS THAT DEAL PRIMARILY WITH THE PROBLEMS OF THE SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED PEOPLE OF NEW YORK STATE WITHIN THE COUNTIES OF STEUBEN AND YATES.

MISSION:

GRANTS ARE MADE TO SCHOOLS, BOTH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE, FOR MANY DIFFERENT PURPOSES, INCLUDING SCHOLARSHIPS, EQUIPMENT, OPERATING EXPENSES OR OTHER SPECIAL NEEDS.LIBRARIES ARE SUPPORTED THROUGH GRANTS FOR COLLECTION ADDITIONS, SPECIAL STUDIES, STAFF TRAINING, OPERATIONS, EQUIPMENT, ETC.ARTS AND OTHER CULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS ARE AIDED FOR EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES ESPECIALLY THOSE LINKED WITH EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS AND THOSE THAT RELATE TO GENERAL PUBLIC EDUCATION.RESTORATIONS PROGRAMS TO PROVIDE EDUCATORS AND LIBRARIANS WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO "RENEW" THEMSELVES THROUGH QUIET STUDY AND RELAXATION AWAY FROM THE PRESSURE OF THEIR USUAL WORK ENVIRONMENT.SEEDSOWING THE STUDY OF NEW IDEAS IN THE AREAS OF EDUCATION AND LIBRARY SCIENCE, HELPING ORGANIZATIONS START NEW PROJECTS AND ASSISTING INNOVATION IN A VARIETY OF WAYS.

PROVIDES 88 UNITS OF SUBSIDIZED, LOW INCOME HOUSING FOR SENIOR CITIZENS. LOCATED IN THE HARLEM. FORTY (40) OF ITS TENANTS ARE ENRICHED HOUSING PROGRAM RESIDENTS WHO REQUIRE SPECIAL ASSISTANCE AND FOOD SERVICE.

TO REACH YOUNG PEOPLE, AND NEEDY PERSONS WITH SPIRITUAL NEEDS. TO VISIT WITH AND TEND TO THE SICK AND INFIRM MEMBER OF THE CONGREGATION, AND THEIR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS
