WASHINGTON HEIGHTS CORNER PROJECTS (WHCP) MISSION IS TO SIGNIFICANTLY IMPROVE THE HEALTH AND QUALITY OF LIFE OF PEOPLE WHO USE DRUGS. TO HELP OVERCOME STIGMA AND SYSTEMIC BARRIERS TO CARE, WE PROVIDE SUPPORT AND SERVICES IN AN EMPOWERING AND NON- JUDGMENTAL ENVIRONMENT AND APPLY A PARTICIPANT-DRIVEN HARM REDUCTION APPROACH. WE EXPAND ACCESS TO CLEAN SYRINGES THROUGH STREET-BASED OUTREACH, AND PROVIDE RESOURCES, ADVOCACY, AND A BROAD RANGE OF EDUCATIONAL, HEALTH AND REFERRAL SERVICES THAT REDUCE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH DRUG USE, INCLUDING HIV, VIRAL HEPATITIS AND OVERDOSE.

FAMILY HOME CARE SERVICES OF BROOKLYN AND QUEENS, INC. PROVIDES HOME CARE WORKERS TO ASSIST THE ELDERLY, PEOPLE RECOVERING FROM SURGERY OR ILLNESS, THE DISABLED, AND PEOPLE WITH AIDS TO LIVE SAFELY AT HOME WITH AS MUCH COMFORT, INDEPENDENCE AND DIGNITY AS POSSIBLE, WHERE INSTITUIONALIZATION MIGHT OTHERWISE BE REQUIRED.

IT SERVES AS A REPOSITORY FOR ALL PRIVATE, NON-GOVERNMENTAL GIFTS AND SUPPORT RECEIVED ON BEHALF OF THE COLLEGE.

THE CLUB IS AN EXCLUSE MEMBERS-ONLY CLUB FOR MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS TO EAT, DRINK, SOCIALIZE, NETWORK, ATTEND PRIVATE MUSICAL AND ARTS EVENTS, AND RELAX IN AN ELEGANT DOWNTOWN SETTING WITH NEW YORK HARBOR VIEWS. MEMBERS PAY ANNUAL DUES AND THE CHARGES FOR FOOD, DRINKS AND OTHER ITEMS SOLD TO MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS, AND MAY CHARGE FEES FOR USING CLUB SERVICES TO MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS.
