LESSEN THE BURDENS OF GOVERNMENT BY PARTNERING WITH LOCAL GOVERNMENT BODIES AND OTHER COMMUNITY STAKEHOLDERS TO PROMOTE REVITALIZATION AND REUSE OF IMPAIRED PROPERTIES AND TO DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENTAL INITIATIVES IN TARGET COMMUNITIES; TO FOSTER PUBLIC AWARENESS AND PARTICIPATION IN THESE SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENTS, AND TO ENCOURAGE PUBLIC/PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THESE INITIATIVES WHERE PRIVATELY-FUNDED ACTION IS UNLIKELY TO OCCUR DUE TO MARKET CHALLENGES; AND TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO LOCAL GOVERNMENTS/COMMUNITY STAKEHOLDERS TO FACILITATE THE REMEDIATION AND REUSE OF ENVIRONMENTALLY IMPAIRED PROPERTIES LOCATED ACROSS THE COUNTRY.

The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. [Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]

The goal of this organization is to operate organizations that provide educational programs within the formal educational system or offered as an adjunct to the traditional school curriculum which help students succeed in school and prepare for life. Includes organizations that partner parents, families, schools, business and/or community leaders to broker resources for the benefit of local schools.

THE AIA PROVIDES ARCHITECTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND RESOURCES TO ITS MEMBERS AND THE CENTRAL NEW YORK COMMUNITY THROUGH ITS RESOURCE CENTER LOCATED IN DOWNTOWN SYRACUSE. AIA CNY IS HELPING ITS MEMBERS MEET THE NEW YORK STATE PROVISION THAT NOW MAKES IT MANDATORY FOR LICENSED PROFESSIONALS TO MAINTAIN THEIR LICENSE WITH CONTINUING EDUCATION LEARNING UNITS EVERY YEAR BY PROVIDING LECTURES, SEMINARS AND OTHER EVENTS ON A MONTHLY BASIS.
