DISCOVERIES ABOUT THE INTRICATE WORKINGS OF THE IMMUNE SYSTEM APPLY TO A VAST ARRAY OF HUMAN AFFLICTIONS, AND THE LIST OF DISEASES CRITICALLY INVOLVING THE IMMUNE SYSTEM IS EXTENSIVE: TUBERCULOSIS, INFLUENZA, COVID-19, ARTHRITIS, ASTHMA, SEPSIS, COLITIS, MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS, CANCER, ZIKA, AND MALARIA, AMONG MANY OTHERS.
