BETHANY HOUSE PROVIDES TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT TO WOMEN AND CHILDREN LOCATED IN ROCHESTER, NY. WE ARE A HOME THAT PROVIDES PEACE, EQUITY, COMPASSION AND DIGNITY.

MISSION:

IT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE EXTRUSION DIVISION OF SPE TO ADVANCE THE TECHNICAL BODY OF KNOWLEDGE IN THE FIELD OF PLASTICS EXTRUSION AS A WHOLE. THIS WILL BE DONE BY STUDIES CONDUCTED WITHIN THE DIVISION, BY CONDUCTING SEMINARS AT ALL LEVELS OF PROFICIENCY, BY PROMOTING EXTRUSION TECHNICAL ACTIVITIES AT THE LOCAL LEVELS OF THE SOCIETY, AND BY PUBLISHING PLASTICS EXTRUSION TECHNICAL INFORMATION WHICH OTHERWISE MIGHT NOT BE DISSEMINATED.

ROCOVERY FITNESS, INC. IS A SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY OF PHYSICALLY ACTIVE INDIVIDUALS BROUGHT TOGETHER BY SOBER LIVING, COMMITTED TO CREATING AN ENVIRONMENT OF HEALING AND RECOVERY. MEMBERS, FRIENDS AND FAMILIES ARE EMPOWERED TO DISCOVER THEIR INNER STRENGTH AND CONFIDENCE THROUGH ADVENTURE, FUN AND CAMARADERIE. THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS A MULTITUDE OF SERVICES RANGING FROM RUNNING, BODY CONDITIONING, WEIGHT LIFTING, CYCLING, HIKING, YOGA, MEDITATION, PLANNED TRIPS, SOCIAL EVENTS AND MUCH MORE FOR INDIVIDUALS RECOVERING FROM ADDICTION IN THE WESTERN NEW YORK AREA. THE ORGANIZATION'S PROGRAMS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO ANYONE WITH 48 HOURS OF CONTINUOUS SOBRIETY. THE ORGANIZATION WELCOMES FRIENDS, FAMILY MEMBERS AND THOSE WHO CHOOSE TO LIVE SOBER.

HOPE INITIATIVES ENVISIONS THE DAY WHEN "RECEIVERS" HAVE BECOME "GIVERS". THIS HAPPENS WHEN THOSE WHO DEPEND UPON SOME FORM OF SOCIAL SERVICE SUPPORT TO MEET BASIC NEEDS HAVE BECOME SELF-SUFFICIENT AND ABLE TO MEET THEIR OWN NEEDS, AND ARE THEN WILLING AND ABLE TO LEND A HAND TO THOSE WHO CANNOT YET HELP THEMSELVES. WE HELP RECEIVERS BREAK THE CYCLE OF DEPENDENCY BY SERVING OTHERS, DEVELOPING SKILLS, AND THINKING DIFFERENTLY ABOUT THEIR POTENTIAL.

TO CREATE INCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITIES IN THE SPORT OF ROWING IN THE ROCHESTER AREA BY DEVELOPING AND DELIVERING PROGRAMS IN ROWING INSTRUCTION AND PROVIDING ADAPTIVE EQUIPMENT TO PERSONS WITH PHYSICAL DISABILITIES, AND IN DOING SO, THE CORPORATION SEEKS TO IMPROVE THEIR LIVES AND HELP THEM GAIN INDEPENDENCE.

AN ANNUAL BACKPACK DRIVE TO PROVIDE SCHOOL SUPPLIES TO APPROXIMATELY 300 INDIVIDUALS. THE RAMADAN GIFT BASETS ARE AN ANNUAL GIVING FOR APPROXIMATELY 125 FAMILIES.

The goal of this organization is to make available to members and their guests and facilities for recreational activities, sports and games. Also included are social clubs that provide opportunities for people to meet and socialize with their peers at dances, parties, picnics, barbecues and other companionable events; and special interest clubs which enable people to share hobbies or other interests with individuals with those same interests.
