Also included are organizations that preserve and manage coastal lands including shorelines, coastal waters and lands extending inland from the shore which affect coastal waters; bays, lakes, rivers, wetlands, estuaries, watersheds and other aquatic habitats.

TO PROMOTE THE BEST INTERESTS OF STUDENTS, THEIR WELFARE, THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION,AND THE IMPROVEMENT OF INSTRUCTIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL INDIVIDUALS IN THE AREAS THAT ARE SERVED BY THE ASSOCIATION. ALSO SERVES ITS MEMBERS AS A LABOR ORGANIZATION ENGAGED IN THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AND CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION ON BEHALF OF ITS MEMBERSHIP, WHICH APPROXIMATES 300 MEMBERS.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide palliative and supportive services including medical care, pain and symptom management, home nurse visitation, case management, counseling, and bereavement services for terminally ill people who are in the final stages of their illnesses and for members of their families.
