THE AGA IS ALSO THE NORTH AMERICAN REPRESENTATIVE IN THE INTERNATIONAL PAIR GO ASSOCIATION.

MISSION:

TO FURTHER & SUPPORT RESEARCH IN THE FIELD OF EARLY DIAGNOSIS & TREATMENT OF DISEASE. PRIMARILY ENGAGING IN CONTINUOUS, ACTIVE CONDUCT OF RESEARCH TO DEVELOP THE KNOWLEDGE BASE FOR THE PRACTICE OF SCREENING FOR EARLY DISEASES SUCH AS LUNG CANCER, CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISEASES & CARDIAC DISEASE. TO HOLD CONFERENCES, CONDUCT STUDIES & REPORT ON RESULTS IN A TIMELY MANNER TO THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY & INTERESTED ADVOCACY ORGANIZATIONS.

The goal of this organization is to provide technical assistance and training, loans and loan guarantees and other forms of support to stimulate the economy, expand employment opportunities, encourage the establishment and growth of commerce and industry and otherwise enhance the economic development of countries outside the United States.
