IN 2023, AEF MADE GRANTS TO PROVIDE EYE GLASSES TO UNDERPRIVILEGED SCHOOL CHILDREN IN THE INDIA STATES OF TAMIL NADU AND PONDICHERRY; TO TREAT PATIENTS FOR EYE CANCER, CORNEAL ULCERS, AND OCULAR TRAUMA; AND TO PROVIDE EQUIPMENT AND TRAINING TO EYE HOSPITALS AND VISION CENTERS IN SOUTH ASIA AND AFRICA.
