MISSION:

AT OUR RESIDENTIAL CAMPUS IN DOBBS FERRY, WE PROVIDE EDUCATION, CLINICAL SERVICES AND POSITIVE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS TO APPROXIMATELY 800 HIGH-NEED YOUTH ANNUALLY THROUGH A RANGE OF INTENSIVE STABILIZATION AND STEP-DOWN PROGRAMS. THE CAMPUS PROVIDE THE BROADEST CONTINUUM OF SPECIALIZED RESIDENTIAL CARE AVAILABLE IN NEW YORK STATE, WITH PROGRAMS THAT ARE DESIGNED FOR MAXIMUM SAFETY WITH THE EVIDENCE-BASED AND EVIDENCE-INFORMED INTENSIVE, TIME-SENSITIVE INTERVENTIONS. ALL INTERVENTIONS FOCUS ON ACHIEVING PLACEMENT STABILITY AND EXPEDIENT PERMANENCY WITH SOUND DISCHARGE PLANNING IN THE SHORTEST LENGTH-OF-STAY APPROPRIATE. THESE PROGRAMS INCLUDE A RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT CENTER, A RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT FACILITY, A SHORT TERM CRISIS RESIDENCE, SHORT-TERM NON-SECURE DETENTION FOR WESTCHESTER COUNTY, AND SHELTER SERVICES FOR ALIEN IMMIGRANT MINORS IN THE CUSTODY OF THE FEDERAL HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES OFFICE OF REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide nursing care on an inpatient or home-care basis for people who need continuous care but are not in an acute phase of their illness.

GLAM4GOOD PROVIDES RECIPIENTS A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT SELF-ESTEEM ENHANCING FORMS OF SUPPORT INCLUDING NEW CLOTHING, UNDERGARMENTS, ACCESSORIES, PERSONAL CARE ITEMS, SERVICES AND CONFIDENCE-BUILDING EXPERIENCES VIA UPLIFTING EVENTS THAT CELEBRATE RECIPIENTS AND ADDRESS THEIR CRITICAL WARDROBE AND PERSONAL CARE NEEDS. GLAM4GOOD GIVES SUPPORT AROUND SIX IMPACT PILLARS; HOMELESSNESS, NATURAL DISASTER, VICTIMIZATION OF WOMEN AND GIRLS, UNDERSERVED YOUTH, HEALTH, AND GENDER EQUALITY. GLAM4GOOD CREATES PROGRAMS, EVENTS, AND INITIATIVES THAT HARNESS THE HEALING POWER, JOY, AND ATTENTION THAT FASHION AND BEAUTY BRING TO RAISE AWARENESS, PROMOTE WELL-BEING, HONOR, COURAGE, AND EMPOWER DIGNITY AND SELF-WORTH. THESE PROGRAMS, EVENTS, AND INITIATIVES SERVE WOMEN, MEN, TEENS, AND CHILDREN.

THE MIDNIGHT RUN, INC. IS A CONSORTIUM OF MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED CHURCHES, SYNAGOGUES AND SCHOOLS IN THE NEW YORK METROPOLITAN AREA. THREE OR FOUR NIGHTS A WEEK, VOLUNTEERS TRAVEL INTO MANHATTAN; THERE THEY SEEK OUT THE HOMELESS POOR. THEY DELIVER CLOTHING, FOOD, BLANKETS AND PERSONAL CARE ITEMS; THEY ENGAGE THE HOMELESS POOR IN CONVERSATION. IN ADDITION TO ADDRESSING THE MATERIAL NEEDS OF THE HOMELESS, MIDNIGHT RUN TRIES TO BREAK DOWN THE BARRIERS BETWEEN PEOPLE.

PERFORMING IN A NUMBER OF CONCERTS THE STUDENTS (AGES 9 TO 17) WERE AFFORDED THE OPPORTUNITY TO REHEARSE AND PERFORM UNDER PROFESSIONAL DIRECTION.
