MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATIONAL - SEASONAL OPERATION OF RECREATION AND EDUCATIONAL TENNIS, SAILING, SWIMMING, AND BOATING PROGRAMS FOR MEMBERS OF THE COUNTRY CLUB.

TO PROVIDE FIRE PROTECTION, EMERGENCY MEDICAL, AND RESCUE SERVICES FOR THE VILLAGE OF COOPERSTOWN AND TO THE TERRITORIES THAT HAVE CONTRACTS FOR THESE SERVICES, ALONG WITH PROVIDING FIRE PREVENTION, FIRE INSPECTIONS, AND FIRE SAFETY EDUCATION SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY

MISSION:

OTSEGO 2000 CELEBRATES, PROTECTS, AND ENHANCES THE ENVIRONMENTAL, AGRICULTURAL, CULTURAL, SCENIC, AND HISTORIC SIGNIFICANCE OF THE GREATER OTSEGO LAKE REGION. AS A 'FIRST RESPONDER' ON ENVIRONMENTAL, SUSTAINABILITY, AND COMMUNITY ISSUES THAT AFFECT THE REGION'S QUALITY OF LIFE, OTSEGO 2000 ENDEAVORS TO ENSURE HEALTHY ENVIRONMENTAL AND ECONOMIC FUTURES FOR PRESENT AND COMING GENERATIONS THROUGH INFORMED ADVOCACY, PUBLIC EDUCATION, INNOVATIVE PROJECTS, AND IDEAS FOR ECONOMIC ADVANCEMENT.

MISSION:

THE MISSION OF THE OTSEGO SAILING CLUB, INC. ("OSC") IS TO (I) PROVIDE AN ASSOCIATION OF SAILBOAT OWNERS AND OTHERS WHO HAVE MUTUAL INTERESTS IN SAILING AND SAIL BOAT RACING; (II) TO ENCOURAGE SAIL BOATING AS A RECREATIVE AND COMPETITIVE SPORT; (III) TO ESTABLISH RULES AND MEANS FOR COMPETITIVE SAIL BOAT RACING BY MEMBERS; (IV) TO PROMOTE SAFETY IN SAILING AND ALL ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES; (V) TO PROMOTE GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP; AND (VI) TO DO ANY OTHER ACT OR THING INCIDENTAL TO OR CONNECTED WITH THE FOREGOING PURPOSES OR IN ADVANCEMENT THEREOF, BUT NOT FOR THE PECUNIARY PROFIT OR FINANCIAL GAIN OF ITS MEMBERS OR OFFICERS, EXCEPT AS PERMITTED UNDER ARTICLE 5 OF THE NEW YORK NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION LAW.

THE MISSION OF THE COOPERSTOWN FOOD PANTRY IS TO ADDRESS ISSUES OF POVERTY AND HUNGER IN NORTHERN OTSEGO COUNTY.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in baseball or softball. Coaching, access to a baseball field, baseball equipment, uniforms, and managers and umpires for games are generally included.
